The angles on the graphic art are harsh and unsettling, though that may be exactly what you were going for given the nature of the article.
The arena’s positioning combined with the vertical nature of the robots sort of stabs the M and AO logos out at the reader.

i like how this is simple, yet it is precisely and thoughtfully executed. on the one hand it is direct and concise, and on the other it uses every channel (color, framing, perspective, etc) to convey a lot. way to use the whole buffalo, karen.
